BMVI’s patients are your neighbors. You see them every day, working essential jobs in our community.
These hardworking residents of Bergen County work, but don’t earn enough money to be able to afford healthcare.
BVMI volunteers are amazing! They are the heart and soul of the healthcare center, and donate thousands of hours of their time to make sure that BVMI’s patients have access to quality, compassionate healthcare.
You can make a lasting difference in the lives of the nearly 1,000 people who call BVMI their medical home.
BVMI delivers free, high-quality healthcare to Bergen County’s working uninsured, helping them live healthy, productive lives.
Prior to becoming a BVMI patient in 2015 she did not have health insurance and her health issues generally went without proper care. In a five-year period Martha was hospitalized several times for cardiac and pulmonary episodes.
