BVMI’s 여성 건강 이니셔티브 provides life-saving healthcare for hardworking Bergen County women who don't have health insurance. Each year, nearly 700 women rely on us for care they could not otherwise afford. 

Volunteer gynecologists and nurse practitioners provide a full spectrum of women's health services including annual exams and cancer screenings, with mammogram referrals for all women over 40 or those at risk. Patients are referred to one of our hospital partners for mammograms, and, if necessary, diagnostic testing, treatment, and follow-up care.  Our patient care coordinator schedules appointments and even helps them apply for charity care. 

Patients like Zoe, who was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer when she came to BVMI. Thanks to your support, she received immediate, no-cost treatment.  Because her cancer was caught early, she was able to continue working and caring for her family throughout radiation treatment. Today, Zoe is cancer-free!

What a celebration! BVMI’s 레전드 런천, presented by Valley Health System, brought together more than 225 guests for an afternoon filled with inspiration, connection, and joy. It was a wonderful mix of longtime BVMI champions and first-time guests, all united by a shared belief in compassionate healthcare for all.

Together, we raised an amazing $213,000 to provide life-changing care for those who need it most - and  honored the remarkable vision of Dr. Art De Simone, Dr. Howard Lipton, Michelle Kaye, and Dale DeAngelis Mottola. Thank you to everyone who made this event truly legendary!
