Nos hemos ganado una excelente reputaci\u00f3n por ayudar a quienes no tienen a d\u00f3nde acudir. Hemos brindado atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica gratuita a miles de personas, muchas de las cuales nunca antes hab\u00edan visto a un m\u00e9dico. La salud es mucho m\u00e1s que simplemente ir al m\u00e9dico, y BVMI se esfuerza por abordar tantos factores como sea posible. No podemos tratar todos estos problemas individualmente; debemos considerarlos en conjunto cuando un paciente ingresa a nuestras instalaciones.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuando llegu\u00e9 a BVMI, no ten\u00eda ninguna ayuda. No tomaba medicamentos. Solo tom\u00e1bamos algo de la farmacia porque a veces ten\u00eda que pagar el alquiler o la consulta del m\u00e9dico, ya que era muy caro.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pensamos que tal vez, tal vez pueda morir ma\u00f1ana. \u00bfQui\u00e9n sabe? Porque no tengo seguro. No tengo nada.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por eso, cuando mi amigo me habl\u00f3 del BVMI y empec\u00e9 a ir al m\u00e9dico, y me recetaron medicamentos para tratar mi diabetes, todo cambi\u00f3, todo cambi\u00f3 y soy como una persona completamente diferente.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Soy m\u00e1s activa. Me siento m\u00e1s feliz y, lo m\u00e1s importante, ahora estoy sana.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El equipo de BVMI es un grupo incre\u00edble y est\u00e1 marcando la diferencia en nuestra comunidad y en mi vida.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Actualmente tenemos cerca de mil pacientes activos, pero es solo una gota en el oc\u00e9ano. Me impresion\u00f3 su misi\u00f3n y tambi\u00e9n me conmovi\u00f3 que quisieran abrir otra sede para atender a los habitantes de Garfield y sus alrededores.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Garfield se beneficiar\u00e1 al contar con atenci\u00f3n primaria directa en un modelo realmente \u00fanico que incluye un departamento de salud, un banco de alimentos y un centro de salud mental. Es como un servicio integral de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La mayor necesidad de BVMI es contar con buenas personas que nos ayuden a llevar a cabo nuestra labor.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hay miles de personas que necesitan atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica. Podemos brindarles esa atenci\u00f3n, pero no podemos hacerlo sin su ayuda.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nuestro objetivo es atender a 968.000 personas en 70 municipios. La \u00fanica manera de lograrlo eficazmente es contando con el apoyo gubernamental de organizaciones como BVMI.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pero tambi\u00e9n apoyamos personalmente, cuando sabemos que hay mucha gente maravillosa con un coraz\u00f3n generoso, estamos realmente agradecidos. Y cada noche simplemente digo, Dios, gracias por la gente generosa que dona a BVMI,<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Muchas de las personas a las que nos referimos aqu\u00ed son personas que trabajan incansablemente por sus familias, esposos, esposas, y hacen todo lo posible por ellas.
