En su primera visita de bienestar, le dijo a su m\u00e9dico que ten\u00eda antecedentes familiares de c\u00e1ncer de mama, pero que no se hab\u00eda hecho una mamograf\u00eda en muchos a\u00f1os porque no ten\u00eda seguro m\u00e9dico. Despu\u00e9s de un examen completo, la derivaron para una mamograf\u00eda. En mayo de 2020, despu\u00e9s de resultados anormales de mamograf\u00eda y biopsia, BVMI la deriv\u00f3 a un onc\u00f3logo. La cirug\u00eda revel\u00f3 que Lee ten\u00eda c\u00e1ncer de mama temprano; aunque no se hab\u00eda extendido al tejido circundante, se someti\u00f3 a quimioterapia y radiaci\u00f3n y ahora tiene un buen pron\u00f3stico. Adem\u00e1s de ser diagnosticada con c\u00e1ncer, Lee tambi\u00e9n perdi\u00f3 su trabajo al principio de la pandemia, lo que puso a\u00fan m\u00e1s estr\u00e9s en su salud.
