Suni helps care for their grandchildren. They were earning too much to qualify for Medicaid - but not enough to make private health insurance affordable.<\/p><p style=\"margin:0;mso-line-height-alt:16.8px\"> <\/p><p \r\nstyle=\"margin:0;mso-line-height-alt:16.8px\">Suddenly, they were caught in the gap between the two.<\/p><p style=\"margin:0;mso-line-height-alt:16.8px\"> <\/p><p style=\"margin:0;mso-line-height-alt:16.8px\">For a time, Jun and Suni went without care. Then a neighbor told them about BVMI.<\/p><p style=\"margin:0;mso-line-height-alt:16.8px\"> <\/p><p style=\"margin:0;mso-line-height-alt:16.8px\">\r\nThis month, they became patients at our new Garfield clinic, where they found more than a place to receive high-quality primary care. They also met with our case manager, who connected them with additional resources to support their family - including recently donated school supplies for their grandchildren.<\/p><p style=\"margin:0;mso-line-height-alt:16.8px\"> <\/p><p style=\"margin:0;mso-line-height-alt:16.8px\">\r\nJun and Suni\u2019s experience is one we expect to hear more often in the months ahead. Suni helps care for their grandchildren.
